About Bruce Schulman

Bruce Schulman is founder and President of Bruce D. Schulman & Associates. He has around half a century of experience in the mergers and acquisitions industry and has been personally responsible for the sale or financing of more than 125 companies.

Prior to founding BDSA in 2000, Bruce was a partner of Sucsy, Fischer & Company, a national investment banking firm located in Chicago, Illinois, and President of Niederhoffer & Niederhoffer, a national merger and acquisition firm located in New York.

From his years of working with owners of middle market companies, Bruce understands the unique issues that face small business owners. He acquired personal experience as an owner of a small business when he co-founded Chester's, a chain of stores located in the Rocky Mountain and Southwest regions, and gained valuable knowledge when the chain was sold.

Bruce is a frequent lecturer at seminars and conferences on issues affecting small businesses. His articles on investment banking topics have been published in numerous newspapers and periodicals.

Bruce received his B.A. from the University of Colorado and his M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
